Dedicated and Dependable

Most sailmakers shoehorn your repairs into their new sail production schedule. It's convenient for them, but may be less than satisfactory for you. At North Sails Oregon, your sails are handled by a separate Service Department, whose sole job is to repair and maintain sails to our own high standards. Whatever your needs, your sails will get our total attention.

Recuts

When sails wear out, performance suffers. We can assess the shape of your sail and recut it if needed (leech take-ups, luff curve changes, etc...) If you're not sure of the extent of the problem, we offer on-board sail checks. We'll photograph your sail, then scan and digitize it for exact measurements for re-cutting.

Sail Upgrades and Enhancements

When you want to improve your performance, we've got the "extras" and upgrades you deserve. We can retrofit your sail with Full Battens, Battslides, Ultra-Violet Sun Covers, Reefs, RopeLuff, Luff Conversions, Spreader Patches and more.

Sail Handling Systems

We can recommend many ways to simplify your sailing and make it safer and more enjoyable, including Lazy Jacks, Roller Furling Systems, Battcar Systems, Dutchman Mainsail Handling Systems, Strong Track and more.

Repairs and Maintenance

North Sails can provide one-time or continuing service to ensure proper performance. If you have a small tear or a major blow-out, need winter service or a quick repair between Tuesday or Thursday night races, there are friendly, capable North Sails staff at locations worldwide who can fix it and have you sailing toward your next port fast.
